So where we are going to get the time to actually update a blog in between the various chores ahead of us I am not quite sure – but I am pretty convinced that if I don’t make the effort to keep track of everything that we are learning and the small joys that get revealed day to day then we are really missing the point of this whole set up.
Firstly – Happy New Year!
Here at The Other Melburn 2019 was a big one! Surrounded by family, we brought in 2019 on the property that at the moment is just the hope of the vision that we have for it. We have hit the ground running and the plans are afoot for the vege patch and the orchard. I have started my research into the various breeds of cattle that might soon be helping us keep the paddocks under control and Lachlan has made friends with all his new toys. The slasher, the ride on mower, the weed whacker, the hose, the rake, the water pumps . . . . you name it – introductions have been made!
